Even though our school year starts in April, we accept applications throughout the year. The application process usually starts with a tour of our campus. Families are welcome to view the classes and see what a typical day at HIS is like. If you are interested in visiting, please make an appointment by emailing or calling our office.
While visiting the school, our friendly staff will show you the various classes, share with you the curriculum, and answer questions about tuition, fees, etc. Below we have some basic information regarding the different classes to give you an idea of what HIS has to offer.
PRESCHOOL (2 & 3 years old)
(2years old〜2016.4.2)
This is the youngest class in our school. Children may join this class during the month that they turn 2 until they are 3. Children can join this class for 3, 4 or 5 days per week. Your child can join this class for a 5-day trial.
If you are interested this class, please contact us.
PRE-KINDERGARTEN(3 – 4 years old)
(2016.4.1〜2015.4.2)
The next step at HIS is our Pre-kinder class, for 3-4 years of age. This class is only offered for full-time students (5 days per week).
Pre-Kinder students focus on weekly learning objectives and complete worksheets for letter/phonics, color, number, and shape of the week, in addition to theme-based activities.
If you are interested in this class, please contact us. Also you can join us for a 5-day trial.
JUNIOR KINDERGARTEN(4 – 5 Years old)
(2015.4.1〜2014.4.2)
Children in this class work on long-term projects and use a textbook throughout the year to focus on pre-reading skills and build on phonics. They also do creative writing and other theme-based activities.
This class is also offered for full-time students (5 days per week).
If you are interested in this class, please contact us. Your child can join us for a 5-day trial.
SENIOR KINDERGARTEN(5 – 6 Years old)
(2013.4.1〜2012.4.2)
Children in this class continue the same textbook series (Unit 2) as in Junior Kinder, so it is always helpful for children to first enter Junior Kinder before Senior Kinder, but it is not essential.
We still accept students with no previous educational experiences at this level. Senior Kinder students continue expanding their knowledge and understanding of pre-reading skills, phonics, and writing skills, in addition to theme-based activities.
